Erik,
you reported that Shotwell won't start up on your system. Are you still
having this problem?
It looks as if the SVG loader (package librsvg2-common) might not be
installed on your system. The Debian package for Shotwell should
probably depend on librsvg2-common, but currently does not. Can you
send the output of the following command?
$ dpkg -l 'librsvg2*'
