Package: mathematica-fonts Version: 11 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
After having installed the package, an ssh-connection to Mathematica still complains that the fonts are not found. Mathematica directly uses the fonts available on the server. In fact, the command xlsfonts does not know anything about the mathematica fonts. A `xset fp rehash` did not help. What helped was to register the fonts using defoma-font and a hints-file. Shouldn't this be done by the postinst script of the package? -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages mathematica-fonts depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.28 Debian configuration management sy ii unzip 6.0-4 De-archiver for .zip files mathematica-fonts recommends no packages. mathematica-fonts suggests no packages. -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
