Hi,

After the last update to a mixed Squeeze/Sid (KDE4 from Sid) I had this bug.
I deleted the knetworkmanagerrc file, started knetworkmanager --nofork and 
still had the bug.   

The fix described in the bug (grabbing a UUID from the kernel and using it in 
knetworkmanagerrc) got things working again.

I keep it mixed by forcing a bunch of packages to stay on Squeeze.
