dpkg emits the following error when trying to compile this package:

Compiling /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/soya/editor/world.py ...
Sorry: TypeError: ('compile() expected string without null bytes',)
and on my system:
$ ls -l /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/soya/editor/world.py

/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/soya/editor/world.py ->
