When building 'dvi2dvi' on amd64 with gcc-4.0,
I get the following error:
gcc -c -O -DPOSIX -I/usr/include -DKPATHSEA
-DDVI2PATH=\".:/etc/texmf/dvi2dvi\" -DDVI2LIB=\"/etc/texmf/dvi2dvi\"
-DFONTDESC=\"//fontdesc\" dvi2.c
In file included from dvi2.c:1:
defs.h:59: error: conflicting types for 'sprintf'
defs.h:59: note: a parameter list with an ellipsis can't match an empty
parameter name list declaration
make[1]: *** [dvi2.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/dvi2dvi-2.0alpha'
make: *** [build-stamp] Error 2
With the attached patch 'dvi2dvi' can be compiled
on amd64 using gcc-4.0.
Regards
Andreas Jochens
