The bug was confirmed upstream and they're working on it, so I suspect that they'll fix it soon and the patch to be incorporated by the Debian GCC maintainers with the next gcc-4.4 upload. It would be enough cynthiune.app to be given back on the *amd64 buildds when they're updated.
