Package: qemu
Version: 0.11.0-1
Severity: serious
Justification: several packages can not have same files without conflict
Hi,
As you split the package, you need that the new binary packages conflicts
with the old qemu package AND the new binary packages replaces qemu.
Else, depending on the order of the dpkg unpack, there will be error due to
file overwrite.
You also need a conflict between qemu-utils and with kvm (at least
85+dfsg-4.1 in unstable) because both of them provides /usr/bin/qemu-io
kvm 88+dfsg-1 in experimental does not provide /usr/bin/qemu-io anymore.
And eventually, both qemu 0.11.0-1 and qemu-user 0.11.0-1 try to provide the
same file /usr/share/man/man1/qemu-user.1.gz
You might wish to clone this bug if you do not want to correct all this
conflict at the same time.
Regards,
Vincent
