Package: pdksh
Version: 5.2.14-23
Severity: serious

Hi,

The postinst tries to replace /bin/sh if it was already pointing to ksh, but
pdksh is far away from being a suitable sh replacement. It doesn't even
implement some basic features widely used in the archive which are *required*
by policy. One example of such a feature is support for local variables.

And it is incorrectly implemented, because bash will complain on upgrades if
the /bin/sh symlink doesn't point to bash and it is not handled by
dpkg-divert.

Regards,
