This still occurs with gnome-session 2.26.1-7 and yelp 2.26.0-1, and the same fix still applies, whether on a new install or old system. Removing "/usr/share/gnome" from the list of directories in XDG_DATA_DIRS prevents yelp from seg faulting. As best as I can tell, the only way to do this is still to modify /etc/X11/Xsession.d/55gnome-session_gnomerc directly, as that file sources ~/.gnomerc before adding the problematic directory to the path. This bug should probably be reclassified as gnome-session rather than yelp, but I do not know how to do that without simply opening a duplicate bug against gnome-session. Or is the fact that yelp can't deal with this directory a problem in yelp? It seems to me to be gnome-session, as it appears to be assuming (incorrectly) that /usr/share/gnome is just a link to /etc.
