Yes, 3.5-7 fails to build as well. I gave this report against 3.5-7+test1 because 3.5-7 segfaults on startup due to a gzip/zlib bug with compressed X11 fonts (all platforms). That is one of the versions from unstable. I'm on a 64k dialup link and can't easily test more recent GCC versions (eg, 3.4, 4.0) however I believe the problem will still exist.
