Hi Thimo, I have prepared an NMU for this bug, based on Andreas's patch. The diff is attached, and the NMU will be uploaded shortly.
It looks to me like this bug really points to a need for this code to be refactored so that the game's variables *don't* overlap those from the shared library, but I think that's also out of scope for an NMU. :) Cheers, -- Steve Langasek postmodern programmer
