Hi! Support for KDE 3 is going away in Debian. From Kopete SILC homepage, I can see that the version in the Git repository have support for KDE 4. Do you plan to release a version supporting KDE 4 in the near future, or should we just package the Git master branch directly?

In the very near future, kde (and kopete) will be kde4 based. The
current kopete-silc-plugin is kde3 based and it will stop to work and
stop to build when this is happened.
I don't know if there is any upstream plans for a kde4 based kopete silc
plugin, but if not, please consider removal of this package.
