Package: fbpager Version: 0.1.4-5.1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
While using with Fluxbox 1.1.1-1, fbpager doesn't display at all. When invoked from startup file, it displays for a while and vanishes. It's still running (ps -C fbpager shows PID), but is invisible and unclickable. Started from already running Fluxbox doesn't display at all. When run with -w option, it does display in Fluxbox's slit, but is about few pixels width/height, what makes it unusable. This bug has been discussed few months ago on Gentoo's bugzilla (http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=236846) and seems to be fixed in newer fbpager versions from GIT repository (http://git.fluxbox.org/?p=fbpager.git) (as you can see, latests changes had been commited after making of newest sid's package). I'm running today-upgraded Debian Squeeze. Bug isn't reproducable in Lenny, which I used to use. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=pl_PL.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=pl_PL.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages fbpager depends on: ii libc6 2.7-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.3.3-3 GCC support library ii libice6 2:1.0.4-1 X11 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libsm6 2:1.0.3-2 X11 Session Management library ii libstdc++6 4.3.3-3 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 2:1.1.5-2 X11 client-side library ii libxrender1 1:0.9.4-2 X Rendering Extension client libra fbpager recommends no packages. fbpager suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
