While wondering why this is blocker for Lenny I thought I write my
thoughts on this:

1. It's easy to write a script that parses the current page and
extracts the link to the file, but that would just move the problem:
When the page is renamed or restructured, the script won't work in
the same way the current approach with a full file link does break.
2. The new file is a tarball (good) with a completelly different
structure as the old .exe (bad) and a different set of files (very
bad) - some are renamed, some are new (Bitstream Vera etc).
=> quite a work to make that work nicely with the old versions.

IMHO that is nothing we should fix in a rush intil Lenny gets released,
but for r1 but in a stable and proper way.
