Hrm. I just did a testbuild in a testing chroot just for fun just to iron out
bugs in sid. And voilá, the compiled package works.

r...@mini:~/tmp$ rmadison gcc-4.3
   gcc-4.3 | 4.3.2-1.1 | testing | source, alpha, amd64, arm, armel,
hppa, i386, ia64, mips, mipsel, powerpc, s390, sparc
   gcc-4.3 | 4.3.2-4 | unstable | hurd-i386
   gcc-4.3 | 4.3.3-1 | unstable | hppa, ia64
   gcc-4.3 | 4.3.3-3 | unstable | source, alpha, amd64, arm, armel,
i386, mips, mipsel, powerpc, s390, sparc

OTOH, that doesn't explain why a recently built 3.0.1 doesn't work.

doko?

Grüße/Regards,

René
