Package: bzflag-client Version: 2.0.13.20080902-1 Hello, to temporarily solve your problem, please install libc-ares2.
Also, I installed bzflag-client, and ldd shows a different output to me, i.e.
it's not linked to libcares.so.2. I also tried a "local" compilation, and it
was negative as well.
Please, would you try building bzflag-client and report the result of ldd
against the locally compiled binary? Here are the instructions:
$ cd /somewhere/
$ apt-get source bzflag
$ apt-get build-dep bzflag
$ cd bzflag-2.0.13.20080902/
$ fakeroot debian/rules bzflag-client
$ ldd debian/bzflag-client/usr/games/bzflag
This might be an amd64-specific issue, we would need to investigate it further
(I'm on a i386 box).
