You'll have to include some more information or this bug report is useless. Can you get a backtrace of the crash as described here: http://wiki.debian.org/HowToGetABacktrace (you can skip to the "Running gdb" section after installing the pidgin-dbg package) Also, do you have any plugins loaded?
