Well, I believe right now is the only sane way to fix it ASAP, 0.8.2 isn't as good as 0.8.4 (even when upstream says is the stable release) since has a lot of bugs and in fact it was the most troublesome release they made so I'm not willing to push something that will make more errors that what we have right now. IMO, 0.8.4 could be a nice release at end of december since has passed a long time without bugs being reported against this version (since nov-19) and until december is a prudential time.
