Package: kernel-package
Version: 11.013
Severity: grave
Since the gzip "fix", it does not longer ignore the output, it just is
not longer able to find it and dies:
| cp arch/sparc64/boot/image
[...]/debian/linux-image-2.6.26-1-sparc64//boot/vmlinuz-2.6.26-1-sparc64
| gzip -9fq
[...]/debian/linux-image-2.6.26-1-sparc64//boot/vmlinuz-2.6.26-1-sparc64
| chmod 644
[...]/debian/linux-image-2.6.26-1-sparc64//boot/vmlinuz-2.6.26-1-sparc64;
| chmod: cannot access
`[...]/debian/linux-image-2.6.26-1-sparc64//boot/vmlinuz-2.6.26-1-sparc64': No
such file or directory
| make[4]: *** [debian/stamp/install/linux-image-2.6.26-1-sparc64] Error 1
| make[4]: Leaving directory
`/build/linux-2.6-2.6.26/debian/build/build_sparc_none_sparc64'
Reason is obvious: gzip appends a .gz to the name.
