Let me update the original information then.
If you perform the following steps:
cd /tmp
wget http://altair.sk/uploads/sample.tar.gz
tar xvzf sample.tar.gz
cd sample
spawg ccs.dvi
then you should see the problem
(I am not sure about Sid but definitely on Lenny).
The difference is that if the program does not find external *.EPS
files, then it only prints a message
Can't find EPS file: Figures/Fig/sem.eps.
and works OK.
However, if the file(s) are in place, it seems to go into some
neverending loop. It then (after 10 seconds or so) prints
gs_kill
I haven't tried this on Sid (I do not have it around) but it behaves
like this on Lenny.
