It is in the changelog.gz, but the change is not in my package (my 10_linux is attached). > > What I see here on my laptop is that with the > > prepare_grub_to_access_device() outside of the entries, it works and with > > it being inside the entry for "invaders", it fails. > > Sounds like a GRUB bug to me. What version of grub-pc are you using? (make > sure you have run grub-install on that version) Done. $ LANG=C apt-cache policy grub-pc grub-pc: Installed: 1.96+20080724-12 Candidate: 1.96+20080724-12 Version table: 1.96+20081108-1 0 50 ftp://mirror.switch.ch experimental/main Packages *** 1.96+20080724-12 0 700 ftp://mirror.switch.ch testing/main Packages 600 ftp://mirror.switch.ch unstable/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status > Also, check: grep multiboot /boot/grub/command.lst $ grep multiboot /boot/grub/command.lst module: multiboot multiboot: multiboot After a closer look... The changed 10_linux is in the grub-common package in experimental. What stays is that in the actual state of things, grub-invaders is not bootable with grub-pc in Lenny.
