There must be some misunderstanding:

-- In sid, both quantlib and quantlib-swig are at version 0.9.6-1

-- In lenny, quantlib is at 0.9.0.20071224-1, quantlib-swig is at 0.9.0-1.
This also match, I simply had an accident with ~ in the version:

quantlib (0.9.0.20071224-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * Final release for 0.9.0 as of 2007-12-24

So both distros have both pieces matching.

The bug happened, as I recall, when quantlib-swig had gotten into unstable
before quantlib or something like that. As far as I can tell, we really are
fine and the bug should be closed. What remnants are you looking at in
t-p-u? What, if anything, should get upgraded?
