Don't feel bad that it isn't fixed yet.  Writing patches is very
difficult sometimes.  I appreciate that you packaged smc at all.
Plus, smc is just a game.  Even if smc ends up being broken in lenny,
it's not so bad; people can simply play other games.

Some other ideas:  If your sponsor doesn't reply, could you get a new
sponsor?  Or, by setting the "version" tag on this bug, could you
somehow force the Debian build system to downgrade the version smc in
testing to the last smc that worked?
