s390 isn't supported by upstream, but most likely we can port it.
Please take a look at

Particularly under the heading "Porting Notes". I'd like to ask you to
supply the information needed, since I do not have access to a s390
machine.
I'll add the appropriate lines in configure, config/ARCHS,
xrootd/src/xrootd/configure.classic, xrootd/src/xrootd/config/ARCHS,
test/Makefile.arch.
For the rest of the stuff, I need some input.
