Hi Andrew, I tried installing f-spot on clean system (pbuilder environment) and it runs without problems. Could you check f-spot in clean GNOME environment:
1. create test user on your system 2. log-in as test user 3. run f-spot If it helps then send me /tmp/f-spot.strace.txt file created by running: strace -f -o /tmp/f-spot.strace.txt f-spot (on your real user where it breaks) Also if you could put contents of your ~/.gnome/f-spot/ somewhere on web and send me location of this file (you can do it outside of BTS).
