I'm experiencing the same problem. In addition to that, also wired network does not work, It seems the link change event is not detected. If I start NM with the ethernet cable in, it tries to set up the network but loops forver. this is the last part of NM output when I start it with the eth cable in. NetworkManager: <info> Activation (eth1) Stage 2 of 5 (Device Configure) complete. NetworkManager: <info> Activation (eth1) Stage 3 of 5 (IP Configure Start) started... process 17197: arguments to dbus_message_get_args() were incorrect, assertion "(error) == NULL || !dbus_error_is_set ((error))" failed in file dbus-message.c line 1667. This is normally a bug in some application using the D-Bus library. NetworkManager: <info> Error getting killswitch power arguments: - NetworkManager: <info> Wireless now enabled by radio killswitch Note that the next to last list sometimes prints a random utf8 character after '-', suggesting a memory corruption... With NM in that state, nm-tool prints: NetworkManager Tool get_nm_state(): didn't get a reply from NetworkManager. NetworkManager appears not to be running (could not get its state). The same happens even if there is no eth cable in (NM in that case does nothing, and the gnome interface shows no detected neworks). I've tried downgrading to glib 2.16-1 (from -2) and now it works!!
