Package: libselinux Version: 2.0.35-1 Severity: serious Usertags: implicit-pointer-conversion
Our automated buildd log filter[1] detected a problem that is likely to cause your package to segfault on architectures where the size of a pointer is greater than the size of an integer, such as ia64 and amd64. Function `selinux_default_type_path' implicitly converted to pointer at selinuxswig_wrap.c:7457 Function `selinux_default_type_path' implicitly converted to pointer at selinuxswig_wrap.c:7457 This is often due to a missing function prototype definition. For more information, see [2]. Inasmuch as the ia64 porters are now treating all such pointer conversions as build failures, this is actually a "serious" bug because the package now "fails to build" on an architecture where it built before. Unfortunately, I don't know much about swig, so am unable to provide a patch for this issue.
