i verified the checksums of the openarena and openarena-data package on the mirror you are using and tried an installation of openarena from that mirror using aptitude. the installation worked as expected without errors and the checksums of the package files are correct, so i would suggest that you follow ansgar's instructions. there must have gone something wrong, while APT was trying to download the package files to your local hard disk. please tell us, if ansgar's instructions helped you out to install the packages, so we can close the bug! cheers - fuddl
