Hello All: I uploaded a updated source package to mentors (also an i386 binary, but that has been discarded as I've been told). I will push to upload the source (and binary) packages to the main archive once I have converted the package into something using any Debian packaging helper, either CDBS or DH.
Meanwhile, these are the steps to build the package: 1) sudo aptitude install devscripts dpkg-dev pbuilder 2) mkdir filelight && cd filelight 3) dget http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/f/filelight/filelight_1.0-1.dsc 4) dpkg-source -x filelight_1.0-1.dsc 5) cd filelight-1.0 6) sudo /usr/lib/pbuilder/pbuilder-satisfydepends-aptitude 7) debuild -i -us -uc -b 8) Install the generated package using dpkg(as root), probably ../filelight_1.0-1_i386.deb You may also like to have localisation package (translations). In that case after having done the previous procedure, do the same again but changing previous 3rd step by this one: 3) dget http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/f/filelight-l10n/filelight-l10n_1.0-1.dsc This l10n package will be named differently, probably filelight-l10n_1.0-1_i386.deb. Note: when specifying sudo you need to use this or whatever command that grants you root privileges.
