I should mention that Bug Buddy also reported ** (bug-buddy:14719): CRITICAL **: file bug-buddy.c: line 287 (on_product_toggle_clicked): assertion `druid_data.state == STATE_PRODUCT' failed /usr/share/bug-buddy/gdb-cmd:1: Error in sourced command file: Previous frame identical to this frame (corrupt stack?)
This reminds me of a core dump from the same application. gdb showed an enormous back trace for the stack, and finally said Cannot access memory at address 0xbfb96000 This spread sheet file makes gnumeric quite slow, and I suspect the delay may have something to do with a corrupt and repeating stack, but that's just a guess.
