Hi, This message is only a warning. Use musetup-gtk (ie) to configure your user's info picture. Then the warning will go.
However, I just checked again, everything works fine if you're user pic is not set. I guess you made a mistake somewhere (daemon really started? interface password?) because here museekd+museeq 0.1.13 works fine everywhere. Downgrading severity to normal.
