Package: enigmail Version: 2:0.94.2-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
I get the following pop-up message when trying to compose messages in icedove with enigmail activated: ----------OpenPGP Alert---------- Enigmail: Error in initializing Enigmail service To permanentely avoid this alert, either fix the problem or uninstall Enigmail using the OpenPGP->Preferences menu ---------- There are updates in unstable to version 95. but the described problem does not 100% agree with mine. The problem came after installing the security update for icedove. And changing to testing / unstable is NOT an option. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-686 Locale: LANG=sv_SE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=sv_SE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages enigmail depends on: ii gnupg 1.4.6-2 GNU privacy guard - a free PGP rep ii icedove 1.5.0.12.dfsg1-0etch1 free/unbranded thunderbird mail cl ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.1.1-21 GCC support library ii libstdc++6 4.1.1-21 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 enigmail recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
