Package: fglrx-kernel-src
Version: 8.38.6-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

The module can't be built because of a license problem.

In firegl_public.c:249 we have:

MODULE_LICENSE("Proprietary. (C) 2002 - ATI Technologies, Starnberg,
GERMANY");

When you try to build module with make.sh, this error will occure:

FATAL: modpost: GPL-incompatible module fglrx.ko uses GPL-only symbol
'paravirt_ops'

I can change MODULE_LICENSE() string to "GPL and additional rights"
and it will build, but I think it isn't the solution, because of license
rights.

        Hi !

This bug was already opened and closed with last update in experimental.
You have to get a 2.6.22 kernel, or apply Sam's trivial patch yourself..
