Your package is failing to build with the following error: /usr/bin/ld: .libs/CAbout.o: relocation R_X86_64_32S against `vtable for CAbout' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC .libs/CAbout.o: could not read symbols: Bad value collect2: ld returned 1 exit status It seems that for some reason libtool it's using -fPIC and only -DPIC on the files in the odbcinstQ directory.
