My other mail about "the rest" has not yet arrived, therefore I'm answering to this one. texdoctk.dat was a false positive: Although I personally had one in /etc/texmf, it's in TEXMFDIST by default, and that is correct. config.ps is in tl-base-bin, therefore I'm cloning and reassigning, and the severity is important because dvips basically works without it.
