Thanks for the patch. I just added it to my SVN. I will run a few tests, especially since I needed to apply your patch manuall since it seemed to be against some spampd version I don't have (some of the patches in debian/patches seemed to have been applied before writing your patch, while some seemed to not have been applied and at least one included in your patch, causing conflicts).
