On another system, this file seems ok. Which is because upstream decided to integrate slappasswd with slapd. And slapd has its own package so the link points to nowhere. Simple solution: install slapd. Which you don't want probably :) Normally slappasswd is not supposed to be used by user tools and it is only shipped in the ldap-utils package by accident since it really belongs to slapd. I'll talk to the maintainer of smbldap-tools and try to find a sane solution. Greetings Torsten
