Since the last message on this bug I have done the following Removed the new hardware - so my hardware configuration was the same as before. Still getting the lockups
Run both memtest86 and prime (CPU load tester) on the hardware. All tests passed perfectly Downgraded kde completely from 3.4.0 back down to 3.3.2 (from SID). I am still getting lockups when I start konqueror (and not when I do most other things - including browse with mozilla firefox).
