I'm not sure where this bug is coming from, but version 5.42.1-1.2 has successfully build from source on all architectures, continues to build correctly in i386 pbuilder for me, and is the explicit result of an NMU that *updated* the config.guess and config.sub files. Are you sure this bug applies to the current version? -- Steve Langasek postmodern programmer
