Maybe completely disabling the static build on mips+mipsel would be more
appropriate: if the test suite fails, a program using GTK+ is likely to
fail to build too. Thus, we would be knowingly shipping a broken library
for this archive. I don't think this would affect much our users;
statically linking with GTK+ is not recommended anyway, and I doubt many
people use it on mips.
