Package: exmh
Version: 1:2.7.2-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
The external editor in prferences is set to:
/usr/share/exmh/exmh-async xterm -e vi
When Comp is invoked the error message:
Error in startup script: no application named "xterm" while executing
"send $exmh [list Edit_Ident [winfo name .]]" (file "/usr/share etc...
occurs.
Hence it is not possible to send message, using an external program.

i've just checked: on a new install, the default editor is
set to sedit which is builtin.
have you set the ext editor command to xterm yourself?

do you happen to have no xterm installed?
>Hence it is not possible to send message, using an external program.
it certainly is possible; but if your preferences specify to use commands
that are not installed exmh is not at fault...
i'm closing this bug hereby. but i will likely adjust the
preferences *help* text to mention x-terminal-emulator instead of xterm
where it lists example commands to use.
