What you are seeing here is a consequence of that and the fact that the Debian patchset has grown to be so big it's almost impossible to have a patch apply cleanly when diff'd from the kernel.org pristine kernel (as parisc-linux's kernel is).
I have to think about a way to fix that. OTOH, I'll see if it's possible to drop hppa 2.4 kernel package in the short term, since everyone should really be using either cvs.parisc-linux.org 2.4 kernel or 2.6 debian package. HTH, Thibaut VARENE The PA/Linux ESIEE Team http://www.pateam.org/
