Are there any error messages in the log? Does powerdns log any useful
messages? Does collectd log the message "Initialization complete,
entering read-loop" (in case you're using log-level "info" or higher)?
What does your configuration look like? Could you please try to find out
what collectd is doing, e.g. using strace or a debugger (install
collectd-dbg in that case)?
I do not use the "powerdns" plugin myself and I do not currently have
the time for in-depth debugging of this issue. With this E-mail, I've
forwarded the issue to the upstream mailinglist and Cc'ed the original
author of the plugin. Please keep <[email protected]> and
<[email protected]> Cc'ed when replying to this E-mail.
Cheers,
