Do you think you could forward this feature request upstream? If they disagree, you can close this bug report. But I think it's worthwhile to decouple these two options. At least it would help in my use scenario: in the guest, I have two windows open, one with email and one with irc. I sometimes want to check email and irc, and I like to be able to move between email and irc by moving the mouse - but I don't want the guest to grab the focus because I only check email/irc in the guest quickly and do most of my real work on the host system.
