python-packagekit currently depends on python-gobject, which is a
transitional package. Packages should be migrated from the obsolete
static bindings ("gobject", "glib", "gtk") to the
gobject-introspection bindings ("from gi.repository import GObject"),
and update their dependencies to "python-gi" (or -dev for build deps).However, it seems that python-packagekit uses neither, so as far as I can see the dependency should just be dropped.
