Package: cdrdao Version: 1:1.2.3-0.2 Severity: wishlist Although my root problem had been fixed by an update for cdrdao, at one time it was not ripping CDs cleanly without static introduced, and I had to verify with dd swb if=...bin | mplayer - that this was a problem. Although there may be reasons this doesn't make any sense, it would make things simpler to verify this sort of thing if cdrdao had a switch causing it to write out and use in the .toc file, a straight ahead .wav file instead of the .bin format. There might be other uses people could come up for with this .wav file, making cdrdao more useful. cdparanoia can create such a .wav file, but then you still have to run cdrdao to generate a toc file to go with it. Thanks for any consideration, your efforts are appreciated. Dallas E. Legan / aw...@lafn.org
