I agree, there should be a way to know which keyboard layout is being used in the time of entering the password.
For example, I was using scroll-lock keyboard LED to indicate the layout, but now there are no keyboard LEDs on my netbook, so I have this problem too. I tried to use xxkb for indication of the keyboard layout, but it didn't help (it didn't show any indicator on the password prompt window, no matter what XXkb.button.geometry I entered). -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
