The Startup.pdf file that is included with apvlv appears to have only been compiled with pdflatex once (from the source file Startup.tex) as on page 2 there are multiple references to sections that appear as “Section ??” instead of the expected “Section 2”. Running pdflatex twice on Startup.tex resolves the problem as then pdflatex is able to pick up the cross referencing information. Both files are in the root of the source tree. The buggy Startup.pdf is also present in the source distribution for version 0.1.2. I was unable to check version 0.1.4 as I was unable to download it. Suggested fix: compile Startup.tex twice with pdflatex during the build process.
