Package: lintian Version: 2.5.5 Severity: normal Bad, lintian, bad!
It is able to tell us about spelling mistakes in upstream code. It can be pedantic about descriptions starting with articles. It can annoy you about tiny details regarding old dh_make templates. It can test your patience, persuading you to add patch headers. Interestingly, it can convince you to add a changelog entry stating that you're moving a package from experimental to unstable. HOWEVER, it didn't warn me about my gnome-orca upload was being uploaded to experimental, even when the changelog said otherwise, and I ended up feeling like an idiot.
