Package: gnome-mplayer Version: 0.9.9.2-1 Severity: normal
Gnome-mplayer seems to prefer using the font specified in the "Subtitle Font" option in "Subtitle Settings" despite the option "Use Embedded Fonts" being enabled. Checking and unchecking the "Use Embedded Fonts" option does not change the behavior of the program. This behavior is specific to gnome-mplayer and not the underlying mplayer program because when the same MKV video file is opened with the command "mplayer -ass", the embedded fonts are loaded and used correctly. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.4 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_PH.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_PH.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gnome-mplayer depends on: ii dbus 1.2.24-4+squeeze1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii gconf 2.28.1-6 GNOME configuration database syste ii libas 1.0.23-2.1 shared library for ALSA applicatio ii libc6 2.11.3-2 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libcu 7.21.0-2 Multi-protocol file transfer libra ii libdb 1.2.24-4+squeeze1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libdb 0.88-2.1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libgc 2.28.1-6 GNOME configuration database syste ii libgl 2.24.2-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgt 2.20.1-2 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libmu 3.0.2-2 library to access the MusicBrainz. ii libno 0.5.0-2 sends desktop notifications to a n ii libx1 2:1.3.3-4 X11 client-side library ii libxs 1:1.2.0-2 X11 Screen Saver extension library ii mplay 2:1.0~rc4.dfsg1+svn33713-2~bpo60+1 movie player for Unix-like systems gnome-mplayer recommends no packages.
